Inclusion Officer

The Inclusions Officer at the Global Peace Bank is dedicated to ensuring that the peace-building and conflict resolution initiatives are inclusive of all societal groups, particularly those marginalized. One of the primary responsibilities is to research and prepare plans for the inclusion of women, the disabled, the homeless, the jobless, internally displaced persons (IDPs), prisoners, and other marginalized groups in Community Conversation Groups. This involves identifying and addressing barriers to participation and creating strategies to integrate these groups into meaningful dialogues. Additionally, the officer researches traditional conflict resolution mechanisms to identify marginalized groups and devises plans for their inclusion in Policy Dialogue Forums, thereby ensuring a more representative and equitable process.
A significant focus of the Inclusions Officer is to enhance the participation of women in conflict resolution activities. This includes identifying and recruiting women leaders who can organize and lead Community Conversation Groups and manage reconciliation processes. By providing these women with the necessary training and support, the officer empowers them to take active roles in peace-building efforts within their communities. The officer also partners with civil society groups and government institutions to carry out activities aimed at empowering not only women but also the disabled, the homeless, the jobless, IDPs, prisoners, and other marginalized groups. These partnerships help to create a more inclusive environment for peace-building and conflict resolution.

Furthermore, the Inclusions Officer is responsible for recruiting members from marginalized communities into the Global Peace Bank. This involves establishing close relationships with the Diversity and Inclusion departments of international governmental organizations, international non-governmental organizations, and national institutions. Through these partnerships, the officer works to enhance the role of women, the disabled, the homeless, the jobless, IDPs, prisoners, and members of marginalized communities in peace-building and conflict resolution. By fostering these connections, the Inclusions Officer ensures that the Global Peace Bank's initiatives are not only inclusive but also supported by a broad network of allies committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in peace efforts.
